Research hovercraft for the high Arctic

A documentary which follows 72 years old Yngve Kristoffersen, a Norwegian scientist who sets out on a dangerous three-month expedition in a small hovercraft to remote areas of the Arctic. He intends to fulfill his lifelong dream and prove a theory about an asteroid hitting the Arctic Ocean millions of years ago, affecting the planet to this day. He encounters Extreme weather, hungry Polar Bears, and mechanical difficulties along the way. The theory which inspired the expedition was based on data collected by John Hall on US Ice Station T3 in the late 1960s
